Ora Banda Gold was slow to begin.
Ora Banda Gold underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Arron Rocke regarding Ora Banda Gold’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Ora Banda Gold was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Rocke pleaded guilty to the charge. Ora Banda Gold was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
