Steward's Report
Poppy's Bus and Beers And Bikes were slow to begin.
Beers And Bikes shifted out on the home turn and collided with Magic Miley, causing Magic Miley to fall and severely checking Paw Xena. Beers And Bikes proceeded to race wide for the remainder of the event. Paw Xena and Magic Miley subsequently underwent post-race veterinary examinations:
- Paw Xena was found to have no apparent injury.
- Magic Miley was found to have no apparent injury.
Steward's spoke to Trainer, Mr. Dallan Klemke, regarding the racing manners of Beers And Bikes on the home turn. Stewards heard submissions from Mr. Klemke, viewed the available race footage and formed their own observations. Stewards were comfortably satisfied that, whilst Beers And Bikes had shifted out and thereafter raced wide, Beers And Bikes' racing manners did not constitute a breach of the rules. Subsequently, Stewards took no further action.
