Bakali Tsunami (faltered and pulled up on the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Stripes and Chopper Juice were slow to begin.

Tiger Stripes (visibly eased in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 3. Tiger Stripes was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Nash regarding Tiger Stripes racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Tiger Stripes was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Nash pleaded guilty to the charge. Tiger Stripes must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Chopper Juice (visibly eased and turned it's head outwards in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstrings injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Knight regarding Chopper Juice’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Chopper Juice was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Knight pleaded guilty to the charge. Chopper Juice must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms. J. Green failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Sisters New for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).

She Is Spoilt was quick to begin. Lucky Jean raced wide on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from We Are South - the winner of the event.

There were no reportable incidents in this event.

Lektra Nick was quick to begin.

Mr. Ha Ha (lost ground in the back straight and tailed off), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Last Hope and Destini Bellanca were quick to begin. McIvor Morgan was slow to begin.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fire Wire.

Fire Wire was quick to begin. Claretown Sadie was slow to begin. Ben Ollie raced wide in the home straight.

Capuano – Late scratching at 1:37pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to vomiting and dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tornado Jack was slow to begin. Urana Express, She's Nautical and My Bro Who raced wide entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Jordan Formosa regarding the racing manners of Manila Artisan approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Formosa, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Shima Jim – New declared weight of 33.4kg, last raced at 34.5kg.

Crackerjack Maxy raced wide in the home straight.

Pandora's Raptor (lost ground approaching the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury, a right triangle muscle injury and a left biceps injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the right side blinker on Crackerjack Maxy became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Jagger's Lady and Zipping Thor were slow to begin.
