Steward's Report

Race day samples were taken from Knight Cuddle and Fool's Journey at the trainers' kennels earlier today.

Ms Jacqueline Berry failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Knight Cuddle for racing. A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).

Flying Currency was slow to begin.

Knight Cuddle (tailed off from box rise) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the abdominal muscle, right quadriceps muscle and right sesamoid. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Lassard - winner of the event.
