The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on the 28th of June.
Crystalize – New declared weight of 25.0 kg, last raced at 26.3 kg.
Collinda Blue, Crystalize and Our Pink Mantra were quick to begin. Blissful Rain and Collinda Pops were slow to begin.
Gone For Good (marred Hate The Drake in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Grant Masterson regarding Gone For Good’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Gone For Good was charged with marring. Mr. Masterson pleaded guilty to the charge. Gone For Good was suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
