Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Circle The Globe.
This event was delayed approximately 3 minutes after the starting light failed to activate the boxes on the first occasion. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes and underwent a veterinary examination. All greyhounds were passed fit to compete and were reboxed after the starting boxes were tested to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
Mepunga Riley and Rev Querida were quick to begin. Step On Air, Windy Biscuit and Tea Yemen were slow to begin.
Circle The Globe raced wide in the home straight.
Tea Yemen (fell approaching the home turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported.
