Mission Complete and Squeeky Taylor collided on the second turn. Time Shift checked off the heels of Squeeky Taylor on the third turn. Mission Complete and Squeeky Taylor collided approaching the fourth turn checking Teddy Tool. Teddy Tool and Wandy Neg collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Wandy Neg, Teddy Tool and Riley's Mate. Riley's Mate eased in the home straight. Teddy Tool and Wandy Neg collided approaching the winning post. Wandy Neg was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury and sand burns, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Riley's Mate was vetted and revetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Riley's Mate with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory trial(all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
