Soho Jetset was slow out.
Cold Attack, Welfare Mother, Star Carnage and Koko Gold collided soon after the start. Candy Power stumbled soon after the start and lost ground as a result. Candy Power contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Koko Gold and Star Carnage collided on the first turn severely checking Koko Gold. Star Carnage galloped on the heels of Welfare Mother approaching the home turn severely checking Welfare Mother which stumbled as a result. Soho Jetset raced wide in the home straight. Candy Power raced wide in the home straight.
Candy Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder and fan muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
