Steward's Report
Unheard Of, Mister Rubble and Ben Galore were slow out. Unheard Of checked off the heels of Toora Tiger soon after the start. Copper Maid checked off the heels of Calm Winds on the first turn. Toora Tiger and Galloping Len collided on the first turn causing Mister Rubble and Benowa Rocket to collide. Toora Tiger and Galloping Len collided approaching the second turn causing Galloping Len, Ben Galore and Calm Winds to collide in turn checking Unheard Of, Galloping Len, Ben Galore, Copper Maid and Calm Winds. Mister Rubble galloped on the heels of Benowa Rocket on the second turn. Galloping Len and Calm Winds collided on the second turn. Toora Tiger checked off the heels of Benowa Rocket in the home straight.
Following the running of the Event, Stanton (weight 29.2 kgs) trialled over 515 metres starting from Box 5. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.47: 19.68: 30.64.
