Elle Douglas and Connemara Wish were slow out. Elle Douglas, Blow Dry, Amos Flex, Head's Captain and Connemara Wish collided soon after the start. Head's Captain crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Jumbo Forrest, Elle Douglas, Blow Dry and Arnos Flex. Amos Flex, Head's Captain and Connemara Wish collided on the first turn. Boomeron and Cawbourne Frank collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Cawbourne Frank checked off the heels of Boomeron on the second turn and again on the third turn checking Amos Flex and Connemara Wish. Elle Douglas and Head's Captain collided approaching the home turn.Head's Captain and Connemara Wish collided entering the home straight. Boomeron, Blow Dry and Cawbourne Frank collided approaching the finishing line.
