Steward's Report
Race 10: Pitstop Motors 525M
Quecee Bunsen was slow out. Auto Express, Gold Fever, Zazzman and Wongawilliesue collided soon after the start checking Gold Fever and Zazzman. Quecee Bunsen checked off the heels of Determinator approaching the first turn. Determinator, Little Pizazz, Auto Express and Wongawillisue collided on the first turn checking Little Pizazz and Auto Express causing Wongawillisue to race wide. Little Pizazz and Gold Fever collided apporaching the second turn checking Little Pizazz, Gold Fever and Zazzman. Gold Fever raced wide on the second turn. Zazzman faltered in the back straight. Determinator and Auto Express collided in the home straight.
Zazzman was vetted following the event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Zazzman down from competing for 30 days.
Stewards issued a warning to Licensed Attendant, Mr. Ken MacKellin, for failing to catch Auto Express for this event after being engaged by Trainer, Mr. Ron Hood.
