Oizon Spice was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Sun Alert, Flex Padilla and Jemalong Dooby were slow out. Jemalong Dooby and Que collided soon after the start. Flex Padilla and Arabica collided on the first turn checking Arabica and Jemalong Dooby. Sun Alert checked off the heels of Flex Padilla on the first turn. Super Saquan, Voluptuous Vixen and Karl collided on the second turn. Flex Padilla, Jemalong Dooby and Que collided on the second turn. Sun Alert and Arabica colided entering the back straight. Super Saquan and Flex Padilla collided on the fourth turn checking Super Saquan. Karl, Jemalong Dooby and Que collided on the home turn. Sun Alert and Super Saquan collided on the home turn. Karl was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Karl down from competing for 5 days. Stewards spoke to Trainer, S. McKenna, regarding the performance of Karl over the concluding stages of the Event. Mr. McKenna told the Stewards that in his opinion, the greyhound appears to struggle over the 600 metres at this track as evidenced on this occasion when the greyhound raced wide during the early stages of the race. Mr. McKenna further stated that it is his intention to trial the greyhound over the 600 metres before nominating for this distance again.

Prince Assassin, Hollywood Wish and Dyna Ross collided soon after the start checking Prince Assassin and Hollywood Wish. Cawbourne Megsy, Prince Assassin and Hollywood Wish collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Ross and Fly Wheel George collided on the first turn. Cawbourne Megsy checked off the heels of Goal Fevs on the first turn checking Prince Assassin as a result. Dyna Ross and Fly Wheel George collided entering the back straight. Prince Assassin faltered entering the back straight and pulled up as a result. Prince Assassin was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hock. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Prince Assassin down from competing for 30 days.

Call Me Donna was slow out. Kingston Blaze, Assassin's Image and Farm Glory collided soon after the start. Assassin's Image, Coleman Bale, Call Me Donna and Stoddard collided on the first turn severely checking Coleman Bale, Call Me Donna and Stoddard. Kingston Blaze and Tourist John collided entering the back straight. Farm Glory checked off the heels of Mankato Bale on the home turn. Tourist John and Mankato Bale collided entering the home straight. Farm Glory and Tourist John collided in the home straight.

Stewards withdrew Foot Print at 6.25pm kennelling time after Dr. Michael Bell reported to the Stewards that the greyhound was presented for racing with an elevated temperature. Acting in accordance with AGRR 6(4), the Stewards will stand Foot Print down from competing for 10 days. A pre-race swab sample was taken from Bahama Thunder. Zambora United and Night Soul were slow out. Zambora United and Dyna Kayne collided soon after the start. Assassin's Son and Red Angus collided on the first turn. Tidal Prince and Zambora United collided on the first turn. Night Soul was held up for a run on the home turn. Zambora United, Dyna Kayne and Night Soul collided on the home turn.

Berman Bale was subsequently euthenased. True Havoc was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that the greyhound sustained a small cut to the left hind leg. No stand down penalty was applied due to the minor extent of the wound.
