Reckless Surfer was a late scratching at 2.44pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.
Major Shiraz and Raken Inn were slow out. Kinrade Lass and Halluvial Gold collided soon after the start checking Kinrade Lass. Major Shiraz and Raken Inn collided on the first turn. Loyal Tiger was checked off the heels of Kings Of Leonard approaching the home turn. Major Shiraz was checked off the heels of Raken Inn approaching the home turn. Loyal Tiger and Raken Inn collided on the home turn checking Raken Inn which faltered and lost ground.
Raken Inn was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
