Steward's Report
Bond Master was slow out. Black Bahama crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Din's Son and Bond Master. Single Spinner, Young Tex and Nick's Trumpet collided soon after the start. Young Tex, Nick's Trumpet and Din's Son collided approaching the first turn. Bond Master checked off the heels of Black Bahama on the first turn. Young Tex checked off the heels of Single Spinner on the first turn. Bond Master and Black Bahama collided approaching the second turn. Single Spinner checked off the heels of Nick's Trumpet on the second turn. Single Spinner and Black Bahama collided entering the back straight. Bond Master galloped on the heels of Black Bahama on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Bond Master veered out and marred the running of Black Bahama approaching the home turn. Outa There and Din's Son collided approaching the winning post.
Bond Master was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind and soreness to the left back muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) Stewards charged Bond Master with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
