Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Allen Hertz.
Go Diego Go was very slow out. Allen Hertz, Chelsea Gail and Oh So Jazzy were slow out. Welcome Lass and Ibrahim collided soon after the start checking Welcome Lass. Maximus Cool faltered approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Ibrahim checked off Tiza Queen on the first turn and collided with Chelsea Gail and Oh So Jazzy.
Maximus Cool was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Go Diego Go was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards established that Go Diego Go turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Go Diego Go was placed on a STAT.
