Hilldene Hope checked off Elusive Swanee approaching the first turn resulting in Cool Elegance, Could Be Quick and Dora The Explora being checked. Connemara Prince checked off Dirty Prince approaching the home turn. Connemara Prince and Elusive Swanee collided approaching the home turn. Elusive Swanee veered out and marred the running of Connemara Prince approaching the home turn. Could Be Quick, Dora The Explora, Elusive Swanee and Connemara Prince collided and checked on the home turn.
Connemara Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Elusive Swanee with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warrnambool and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
