Steward's Report
Pazzaziam was a late scratching at 11.40 a.m. due to injury. Acting in accordance with AGRR 6(4), the Stewards will stand Pazzaziam down from competing for 10 days.
That Was Awesome, Hello Newman and Caniza Bale were slow out. Lori Jackson and Suron Express collided soon after the start checking Hello Newman. Harnett Bale and Lori Jackson collided on the first turn. That Was Awesome galloped on the heels of Midori Ash on the first turn checking Hello Newman. That Was Awesome, Hello Newman and Suron Express collided approaching the second turn. That Was Awesome and Hello Newman collided on the second turn. That Was Awesome and Suron Express collided entering the back straight.
A swab sample was taken from Midori Ash, the winner of the Event.
Following the running of the Event, Sinner (weight 29.0 kls) and Worthy Memory (weight 30.4 kls) trialled over 518 metres starting from Boxes 1 and 3 respectively. Worthy Memory led all the way at the sectional times of 5:04: 17.93: 30.14 at a margin of 1188 lengths at the finish.
