Hotshow Marion was a late scratching at 6.40 p.m. kennelling time after Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to have a cracked left fibula. Acting in accordance with AGRR 27(2), the Stewards will stand Hotshow Marion down from competing for 21 days. Ignite The Bomb was slow out. Stress Relief and Sarah's Izzy collided on the first turn. Best Prodigy and Crystal Becky collided on the first turn. Bukem Bale and Sarah's Lizzy collided approaching the second turn checking Midori Ash. Best Prodigy and Crystal Becky collided in the back straight and again approaching the third turn checking Best Prodigy. Stress Relief checked off the heels of Ignite The Bomb approaching the home turn. Sarah's Lizzy and Best Prodigy collided in the home straight. Ponchie and Cash Discount collided in the front straight. Ponchie crossed to the outside in the back straight checking Cash Discount. More Reward and Billie Rose collided on the fourth turn. Bart's Girl and Random Flyer collided entering the home straight.

Millstreet Eire was slow out. Black Admiral and Skitchywana collided soon after the start. Black Admiral and Rotkara Tommy collided approaching the first turn. Millstreet Eire checked off the heels of Skitchywana on the first turn. Forward Pocket and Rotakara Tommy collided on the second turn checking Forward Pocket and Time To Stride. Eccentric Bell and Full Streak collided soon after the start. Spotted Jagga and Irish Oak collided on the first turn. Eccentric Bell faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off checking Paris Bound. Eccentric Bell was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right hock. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Eccentric Bell down from competing for 30 days.

Beauhaven Escape was slow out. Classic Rush and Night In Georgia collided on the first turn. Mercurial Prince raced wide on the second turn checking Tip Top Tears. Beauhaven Escape checked off the heels of Thimble on the fourth turn. Beauhaven Escape faltered on the fifth turn and pulled up. Sunset Hilda checked off the heels of Night In Georgia approaching the home turn checking Classic Rush. Beauhaven Escape was vetted following the event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be cramped. Following a revet of the greyhound some time later revealed no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards deemed the performance of Beauhaven Escape to be unsatisfactory this evening and acting in accordance with AGRR 85, the Stewards directed that Beauhaven Escape must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted. Mercurial Prince was also vetted following the Event and found to be injured in the right monkey muscle and right hind sesamoid. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Mercurial Prince down from competing for 10 days.

Extra Prince, Awesome Gairn, Viter Assassin and Algaz were slow out. Black Jagga, Coulta Bandit, Awesome Gairn, Hail A Harley, Viter Assassin and Algaz collided on the first turn causing Viter Assassin to fall and check Awesome Gairn, Hail A Harley and Algaz. Coulta Bandit raced wide on the home turn.
