Steward's Report
Hotshow Marion was a late scratching at 6.40 p.m. kennelling time after Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to have a cracked left fibula. Acting in accordance with AGRR 27(2), the Stewards will stand Hotshow Marion down from competing for 21 days.
Ignite The Bomb was slow out. Stress Relief and Sarah's Izzy collided on the first turn. Best Prodigy and Crystal Becky collided on the first turn. Bukem Bale and Sarah's Lizzy collided approaching the second turn checking Midori Ash. Best Prodigy and Crystal Becky collided in the back straight and again approaching the third turn checking Best Prodigy. Stress Relief checked off the heels of Ignite The Bomb approaching the home turn. Sarah's Lizzy and Best Prodigy collided in the home straight.
Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Bruce Thomson, regarding the manner in which Best Prodigy raced in the home straight.
A swab sample was taken from Ignite The Bomb, the winner of the Event.
