Steward's Report
Eden Rock was slow out. Burali Bale and My Toby collided soon after the start checking Shirazamatazz. Tokay Tiger and Jemalong Leader collided on the first turn. Burali Bale crossed to the rails on the second turn checking Jemalong Leader. Jemalong Leader and My Toby collided on the second turn checking Eden Rock. Polly's Boy and Shirazamatazz collided on the second turn. Polly's Boy faltered on the second turn and tailed off. My Toby and Galvo Bale collided entering the back straight. Galvo Bale checked off the heels of Jemalong Leader entering the home straight.
Polly's Boy was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right biceps. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Polly's Boy down from competing for 7 days.
That Was Awesome (weight 33.8 kls) trialled following the running of this event over 518 metres starting from Box 5. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.13: 18.19: 31.11.
