Steward's Report
Solo Title, Ramden Bale and Unsettled were slow out. Ramden Bale checked off the heels of Patrick Shiraz on the first turn. Worthy Memory checked off the heels of Happy Road approaching the second turn checking Unsettled and Handyman. Maud's Best faltered on the third turn checking Happy Road. Maud's Best subsequently pulled up. Happy Road and Handyman collided on the home turn.
Maud's Best was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right thigh and chest. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Maud's Best down from competing for 5 days to recuperate. Stewards deemed the performance of Maud's Best to be unsatisfactory this evening and acting in accordance with AGRR 85, the Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will again be accepted.
