La Porsche was slow to begin. Skylarker, Big Intention, Cambo's Lady and Pier Street Punk collided approaching the first turn checking Skylarker, Pier Street Punk, Cambo's Lady and La Porsche. Skylarker and La Porsche collided on the first turn. Cuzin Bob and Zimmer collided on the first turn checking Zimmer. Skylarker checked off Pier Street Punk approaching the home turn checking Sixteen Candles. Skylarker and La Porsche collided approaching the home turn checking Skylarker and Cambo's Lady. Sixteen Candles raced wide in the home straight.
Cambo's Lady was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
