Mr. Cobalt and Stylish Boxer were slow to begin. Elite Apple and Black Miranda collided on the first turn checking Black Miranda, Select Star and Mr. Cobalt. Kasundi and Elite Apple collided on the home turn. Mr. Cobalt raced wide in the home straight. Kasundi and Elite Apple collided in the home straight. Select Star checked off Dot Man approaching the winning post. Elite Apple and Black Miranda collided approaching the winning post checking Black Miranda.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Stylish Boxer became dislodged during the running of the event.
