Steward's Report
Heavy Metal was quick to begin. Bourbon Barrels and Aeroplane Mode were slow to begin.
Unacceptable Sid lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr John Boreland regarding Unacceptable Sid overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Boreland to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Unacceptable Sid in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
