Steward's Report
Dinosaur Deano and Little Whip were slow to begin.
Gracilis visibly eased, turned its head to the inside soon after the start and pulled up underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Matthew Tabb regarding Gracilis’ racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Gracilis was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Tabb pleaded guilty to the charge. Gracilis was suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
