Steward's Report
Mr. Christian Wilk was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Full Barrel, pursuant to GAR 88.
Pacific Beauty and Woodside Cruiser were quick to begin. Scotch Neat was slow to begin.
Pacific Beauty turned it's head inwards in the back straight. Pacific Beauty underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have hindleg abrasions. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Bickerton regarding Pacific Beauty's racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Pacific Beauty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bickerton pleaded guilty to the charge. Pacific Beauty must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Full Barrel - the winner of the event.
