Aston Wyatt was quick to begin. What A Doll was slow to begin.
Aston Wyatt tired over the concluding stages and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr R Gatt regarding Aston Wyatt performance over the concluding stages in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr R Gatt to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Aston Wyatt in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Supplementary Report 29.01.2024: Trainer Mr R Gatt, notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Aston Wyatt was found to have no apparent injuries and will undergo a further check prior to its next racing engagement.
