Boehmke, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Saxon Raider unsatisfactory. Saxon Raider must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted

Vlasta Bale - checked, faltered and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Readiness and Resign The Plow were quick to begin. Ruby Wren was slow to begin. Resign The Plow raced wide in the home straight.

Showgirl Kara underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4, no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr D. Shovan regarding Showgirl Kara's performance and racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr D. Shovan, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Showgirl Kara unsatisfactory. Showgirl Kara must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards inspected the track on the first turn following this event and deemed it suitable for racing. 

Inga Jerry – New declared weight of 34.3kg, last raced at 32.9kg.

Natural Glamour crossed to the rail soon after the start and was quick to begin. Junior Ruslie was slow to begin.

Junior Ruslie checked and faltered on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a injuries to the right thigh and triangle muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Inga Jerry checked on the first turn and lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 6, no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr P Inguanti regarding Inga Jerry's overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested representative Mr P Inguanti to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Inga Jerry in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Supplementary Report 29.1.24: kennel representative Mr P Inguanti, notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Inga Jerry was found to have no apparent injuries.

Crymelon Spirit and Patrick Bale were quick to begin. Jacquinot Jet was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Gatt regarding Aston Wyatt  performance over the concluding stages in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr R Gatt to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Aston Wyatt in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
