Steward's Report
In accordance with LR 40.2, Mr T Boehmke was issued with a fine of $50 regarding non–compliance with the GRV Dress Standards.
Aria's Melody and Lightning Jedda were quick to begin. Vlasta Bale was slow to begin.
Saxon Raider underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr T. Boehmke regarding Saxon Raider’s performance and racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr T. Boehmke, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Saxon Raider unsatisfactory. Saxon Raider must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted
Vlasta Bale - checked, faltered and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
