A pre-race sample was taken from Kilty Boy.
Klaus Bale was quick to begin. All Bolts was slow to begin. Linco Bale and All Bolts collided soon after the start. Linco Bale and Winter Blues collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kilty Boy and Klaus Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Kilty Boy which stumbled as a result. Linco Bale galloped on the heels of Winter Blues approaching the home turn. Kilty Boy and All Bolts collided entering the home straight.
Kilty Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
