Wild About Ty was slow to begin.  Wild About Ty and Our Numbered collided soon after the start.  Tommy Winslow, Forever Loved, Iona Nitro, Cosmic Saint and Rumbling Fury collided approaching the first turn checking Iona Nitro and Cosmic Saint.  Tommy Winslow, Forever Loved and Iona Nitro collided on the first turn checking Forever Loved, Iona Nitro and Our Numbered.  Forever Loved and Iona NItro collided approaching the home turn.  Cosmic Saint and Our Numbered raced wide on the home turn.

Moyne View was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Lizzibee, Tahlo and Kentucky Toy collided soon after the start checking Lizzibee and Tahlo.  Lizzibee checked off Kentucky Toy approaching the first turn.  Dollar Spot, Mylina Sparkle and Scanez Twelve collided on the first turn checking Mylina Sparkle which collided with Kentucky Toy as a result.  Kentucky Toy and Scanez Twelve collided on the home turn.  Tahlo raced wide entering the home straight.  Mylina Sparkle and Lizzibee collided in the home straight.

Moyne View was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr D. Gehan, trainer of All In Murch redeclared a new weight of 35.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). All In Murch last raced at 34.2kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zany Bale.

Spa El Jay and All Inn Murch were slow to begin.  Deep Rock, Pyromania, Fearful Amy and Sandra Dee collided soon after the start severely checking All Inn Murch.  Spa El Jay checked off Sandra Dee on the first turn.  Sandra Dee and Fearful Amy collided entering the home straight checking Fearful Amy.  Sandra Dee and Deep Rock collided approaching the winning post. 

All Inn Murch which trailed the field throughout the event was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder, right hip and right wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Kilty Miss was a late scratching at 11:54am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr K. Quinn was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Racing Ruby.

Junebug was quick to begin.  Hoi Polloi was slow to begin.  Convoy, Racing Ruby, Chief Winslow and Junebug collided soon after the start checking Racing Ruby and Chief Winslow.  Racing Ruby and Chief Winslow collided approaching the first turn checking Racing Ruby.  Winter Time and Convoy collided on the first turn.  Chief Winslow, Hoi Polloi and All Over collided on the first turn checking All Over.  Chief Winslow and Hoi Polloi collided approaching the home turn.  Winter Time and Convoy collided on the home turn checking Convoy.  Convoy galloped on the heels of Winter Time on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Winter Time and Racing Ruby raced wide on the home turn.

Winter Time was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Convoy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to it's right foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kilty Boy.

Klaus Bale was quick to begin.  All Bolts was slow to begin.  Linco Bale and All Bolts collided soon after the start.  Linco Bale and Winter Blues collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Kilty Boy and Klaus Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Kilty Boy which stumbled as a result.  Linco Bale galloped on the heels of Winter Blues approaching the home turn.  Kilty Boy and All Bolts collided entering the home straight.

Kilty Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from Flashing Billy.

Highfield Stix was slow to begin.  Barra Boy and Flashing Billy collided soon after the start checking Flashing Billy.  Katie Sullivan checked off Shiraz Lady approaching the first turn.  Shiraz Lady and Rosanna Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Flashing Billy checked off Highfield Stix on the first turn.  Crystal Cameo and Barra Boy collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn.  Shiraz Lady raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Shiraz Lady was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right shoulder.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Magic Court.

Rage Bale was quick to begin.  Charming Ally and Just A Dot collided soon after the start.  Magic Court and Ulala Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Ulala Bale checked off Just A Dot on the first turn.  Ulala Bale and Railway Doll collided on the first turn.  Railway Doll faltered on the first turn and pulled up.  El Carado checked off Ernie Old in the home straight.

Railway Doll was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken left front leg.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.

Ms D. Massina, representative of Sneezes redeclared a new weight of 29.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sneezes last raced at 27.5kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mini Jet Mal.

Mini Jet Mal was slow to begin.  Ladies Kay, Yarn Bale, Ain't No Good and Zedane collided soon after the start checking Yarn Bale and Ain't No Good.  Le Grand Bleu checked off Sneezes approaching the first turn.  Ladies Kay checked off Zedane approaching the first turn.  Frankie Tana and Sneezes collided on the first turn checking Frankie Tana, Le Grand Bleu and Zedane.  Ladies Kay checked off Le Grand Bleu approaching the home turn.

Forbidden Planet was slow to begin.  Honey Girl, Billy Winslow, Berri Lass and Railway Ruth collided soon after the start checking Billy Winslow and Berri Lass.  Happy Hudson and Charlie's Man collided soon after the start checking Charlie's Man.  Railway Ruth, Charlie's Man, Berri Lass and Forbidden Planet collided approaching the first turn checking Berri Lass and Charlie's Man.  Bull Bar Maisie and Forbidden Planet collided approaching the home turn.  Charlie's Man raced wide on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Happy Hudson, the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample from Black Eye Jim was unable to be obtained.  A post race sample was taken from the greyhound.

Trias was slow to begin.  Samurai Spike and Scanez Elect collided soon after the start checking Samurai Spike checking Samurai Spike.  Black Eye Jim and Bashir collided soon after the start.  Scanez Elect, Hill and Jack's Princess collided approaching the first turn checking Hill and Jack's Princess.  Jack's Princess, Black Eye Jim and Bashir collided on the first turn checking Jack's Princess and Bashir.  Jack's Princess eased approaching the home turn and pulled up as a result.  Trias checked off Hill in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ward, the trainer of the greyhound Jack's Princess regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Jack's Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Jack's Princess with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. K. Ward pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Jack's Princess was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Begin Again was slow to begin.  Spa Missy, Uncontrollable, Valentine Belle, Because She Can and Full Of Dee collided soon after the start checking Valentine Belle, Because She Can and Full Of Dee.  Valentine Belle galloped on the heels of Full Of Dee on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Spa Missy checked off Uno Frankie approaching the home turn.  Uncontrollable raced wide on the home turn.

Mr J. Maple, trainer of Prince Of Monaco redeclared a new weight of 35.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Prince Of Monaco last raced at 33.9kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spanish Express.

Dortmunder was quick to begin.  Cruising Thyme, Bronze Lad and Prince Of Monaco were slow to begin.  Spanish Express, Bronze Lad and Carlanna Sharna collided soon after the start checking Bronze Lad, Spanish Express and Cruising Thyme.  Deecee Zues checked off Dortmunder approaching the first turn.  Spanish Express checked off Cruising Thyme on the first turn.  Carlanna Sharna checked off Lady Tron approaching the home turn.  Carlanna Sharna and Prince Of Monaco collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Bronze Lad and Dortmunder collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Carlanna Sharna checked off Prince Of Monaco in the home straight.
