A pre-race sample was taken from Turbo Norris prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.
Classic Nitro was quick to begin, Classic Nitro, Kiss Me Ketut and Turbo Norris collided approaching the first turn. Oakvale Destiny and Nifty Neveelk collided approaching the first turn. Classic Nitro, Oakvale Destiny, Nifty Neveelk and Joey Valdez collided on the first turn. Classic Nitro and Joey Valdez collided on the second turn. Oakvale Destiny and Turbo Norris collided on the third turn, checking Turbo Norris. Nifty Neveelk, Kiss Me Ketut and Turbo Norris collided approaching the home turn.
