Andy Jay, Jokowi, Myziel and Mine Craft were slow to begin. Sir Tex, Andy Jay and Sir Pendlebury collided approaching the first turn, checking Andy Jay. Jokowi and Myziel collided approaching the first turn, checking Myziel. Sir Tex, Splash Mountain and Francol collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Francol and Sir Tex. Jokowi galloed on Sir Pendelbury on the first, severely checking Sir Pendelbury, Jokowi and Myziel; Myziel stumbled as a result. Andy Jay checked off Sir Tex on the first turn. Sir Tex, Andy Jay and Myziel collided on the first turn, checking Myziel which raced wide. Jokowi, Sir Tex and Andy Jay collided approaching the seocnd turn, checking Sir Tex and Jokowi.
