Steward's Report
Sacred Diamond, May It Be, Arvo's Texan and Honeycomb Smooth were slow to begin. Sacred Diamond checked off May It Be soon after the start. Miss Turmoil collided of May It Be on the second turn. Escapist and Hold On Nitro collided in the back straight. Sir Pendelbury checked off Hold On Nitro approaching the home turn. Escapist and Honeycomb Smooth collided approaching the winning post.
Hold On Nitro (which was distressed subsequent to the event) was vetted. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Sacred Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sand burn to the right hind; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
