Prior to race 1 - Trial (Solo) - Wynburn Wizard trialled over the 520 metres from box 3, weight 31.0kg(+0.1kg). The times of the trial were 5.47- 21.35 - 30.38.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Andy Jay engaged in this event on 22nd of December, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Andy Jay and Alexia Rae were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Virginia Rose checked off Alexia Rae on the first turn and raced wide as a result. Andy Jay, Cigar Sam, Alexia Rae, Virginia Rose collided on the second turn. Splash Mountain checked off Andy Jay on the third turn. 

Sacred Diamond, May It Be, Arvo's Texan and Honeycomb Smooth were slow to begin. Sacred Diamond checked off May It Be soon after the start. Miss Turmoil collided of May It Be on the second turn. Escapist and Hold On Nitro collided in the back straight. Sir Pendelbury checked off Hold On Nitro approaching the home turn. Escapist and Honeycomb Smooth collided approaching the winning post. 

Hold On Nitro (which was distressed subsequent to the event) was vetted. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Sacred Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sand burn to the right hind; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Enduro MIss engaged in this event on 22nd of December, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Show Dawn, Good Judge Buddy and Cro Cop were slow to begin. Show Dawn checked off Myziel soon after the start, checking Good Judge Buddy and Cro Cop. Show Dawn and Crop Cop collided on the first turn. Enduro Miss and Good Judge Buddy collided on the first turn. Show Dawn raced wide on the second turn and collided with Cro Cop as a result.

Show Dawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken form Move The Target. 

West On Jordan went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Francol, Move The Target and Richo Bale were slow to begin. West On Jordan and Zou Zou Nee collided approaching the first turn. Frisky Colour, Move The Target and Richo Bale collided on the first turn. Frisky Colour checked off Move The Target in the back straight. 

Zou Zou Nee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist injury; a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Jenkins Bale, Call Me Scary, Black Velcro, Aqua Vitae and Dewana Lass were slow to begin. Jenkins Bale and Call Me Scary collided apporaching the first turn. Jenkins Bale and Black Velcro collided on the first turn. Jenkins Bale galloped on Aqua Vitae entering the back straight, checking Starzar Diamonds and Dewana Lass.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Jenkins Bale had become wedged during this event. 

Starzar Diamonds was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right front and the left and right hind; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Jenkins Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Athos, Crusade Marjen and Alex's Entity were slow to begin. Full On Bling checked off Athos approaching the first turn. Cool Mikado and Glock collided on the first turn. Athos checked off Crusade Marjen on the second turn, checking Full On Bling. Xtreme Knocka checked off Cruiser's Sol on the third turn. Cool Mikado and Crusade Marjen collided on the home turn. Athos and Full On Bling collided on the home turn.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. David Jensen ( Handler of Crusade Marjen) for failing to effectively engage a catcher for the greyhound.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Pat The Baker engaged in this event on 22nd of December, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Uncle Ant, Pat The Baker, Survivor Sal and Amber Blaze were slow to begin. Survivor Sal checked off Pat The Baker on the first turn. First Dan and Amber Balze collided on the second turn. Playing Tough checked off First Dan entering the back straight. First Dan clipped the heels of Amber Blaze in the back straight and stumbled as a result. Pat The Baker and Playing Tough collided apporaching the winning post. 

Amber Balze was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right biceps injury; a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from My Baby Porscha, the winner of the event.

Salegreys Power was slow to begin. Kosi Can checked off Salegreys Power approaching the first turn. Cheeky Hand checked off Whatta Joke on the first turn. Kosi Can and Cheeky Hand collided approaching the home turn. 

Kosi Can was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind laceration; a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Devlin Flash and Bush Wacked were slow to begin. Troy's Verdict and Fleetwood Flint collided approaching the first turn. Marly Girl and Bush Wacked collided on the first urn. Marley Girl checked off Isa HIllbilly on the home turn. 

Shrek's Fantasy was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Shrek's Fantasy and Perry White collided approaching the first turn. Preview Gift checked off Perry White in the back straight. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from  Twistex engaged in this event on 22nd of December, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Izack Bale, Urzu Allen and Atomic Beach were slow to begin. Obey collided with the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result, checking Twistex and Izack Bale.

Obey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zatmine, Riley's Charm, Gorbachev and Kaitoke Diamond were slow to begin. Greysynd Emma checked off Riley Charm on the first turn, checking Gorbachev. One Cup Short checked off Kaitoke Diamond entering the back straight and lost considerable ground, checking Zatmine and Chasin Mikado. Riley's Charm and Gorbachev collided entering the back straight. She's Exciting and Kaitoke Diamond collided on the third turn. One Cup Short and Riley's Charm collided on the third turn. She's Exciting and Chasin Mikado collided in the home straight.

One Cup Short was vetted followingthe event. It was reported that the greyhound suatined a right shoulder injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
