Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Tzar Norma engaged in this event on 12 December 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre race sample was taken from Alpha Zeus.
Bounty, Want That Rabbit and Dingo Bale were slow to begin. Our Spinner, Alpha Zeus, Darcon Dash and Bounty collided soon after the start. Alpha Zeus and Want That Rabbit collided on the first turn. Tzar Norma and Charleston collided on the third turn. Bounty checked off Dingo Bale approaching the home turn, checking Our Spinner. Darcon Dash and Charleston collided entering the home straight. Darcon Dash and Charleston collided in the home straight.
Darcon Dash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyound sustained an injured right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr R Conway, the trainer of Darcon Dash regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.
Exhibition Trial - Prescribe trialled over the 525m from box 2, weight 30.5kgs. The time of the trial was first split 5.15, second split 17.80 and final time of 29.95.
