Bounty, Want That Rabbit and Dingo Bale were slow to begin.  Our Spinner, Alpha Zeus, Darcon Dash and Bounty collided soon after the start.  Alpha Zeus and Want That Rabbit collided on the first turn.  Tzar Norma and Charleston collided on the third turn.  Bounty checked off Dingo Bale approaching the home turn, checking Our Spinner.  Darcon Dash and Charleston collided entering the home straight.  Darcon Dash and Charleston collided in the home straight.

Darcon Dash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyound sustained an injured right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr R Conway, the trainer of Darcon Dash regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.

Exhibition Trial - Prescribe trialled over the 525m from box 2, weight 30.5kgs.  The time of the trial was first split 5.15, second split 17.80 and final time of 29.95.

A pre race sample was taken from Flying Paddy.

Hercules Bale, Humming Birdhill and Reiko Bale were slow to begin.  Irish Asteria and Hercules Bale collided soon after the start.  Lektra Spider and Flying Paddy collided approaching the first turn.  Lektra Spider checked off Flying Paddy on the first turn, checking Irish Asteria and Hercules Bale.

A sample was taken from the placegetters - Humming Birdhill, Reiko Bale and Flash Zoe.

Stewards spoke to Mr J McCallum regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Flying Paddy.  Stewards directed that Flying Paddy be boxed first in future events.

Prior to the all clear being given, the judges semiphored Race 5 on the semiphore board which was immediately corrected to Race 3.

Kid Maximus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Hallelujah Lucy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Veloso was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and skin laceration left hind foot, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Bramwell Brown was a late scratching at 6.37pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer M Gilders was fined the sum of $100.00.

Thunder Flame was slow to begin.  Decanus checked off Walt Bale soon after the start.  Loves it and Walt Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Walt Bale and Se's High Above collided on the first turn.  Decanus checked off Se's High Above approaching the second turn and raced wide as a result.  Maximum Chez checked off Six Green Thumbs on the third turn.  Loves it and Decanus collided on the home turn.  Loves it, Decanus and Thunder Flame collided entering the home straight, checking all three greyhounds.
