Sweet Charmola and Cafe Society were quick to begin.  Precipitation and Brenda Brae were slow to begin.  Pinkish Hue was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Brenda Brae was checked off Precipitation soon after the start.  Marle Bale was checked off Once A Drifter approaching the first turn.  Once A Drifter clipped the heels of Sweet Charmola on the first turn checking Oops and severely checking Once A Drifter and Pinkish Hue, Pinkish Hue raced wide as a result.  Precipitation was checked off Pinkish Hue approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Delvin Flash and Francol were slow to begin.  Jungle Jane and Couta Model collided soon after the start checking Jungle Jane.  Just Like Jim was checked off Cadillac Style approaching the first turn.  Jungle Jane was checked off Farron Bale on the first turn.  Cadillac Style clipped the heels of We'll Clap That approaching the home turn.  

Delvin Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Honeycomb Smooth was quick to begin.  Diamond Jack and Magic Coups were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Magic Coups.  Cosmic Break and Dignity Diamond collided soon after the start checking Dignity Diamond.  Magic Coups raced wide on the first turn.  Dignity Diamond raced wide approaching the home turn. Diamond Jack clipped the heels of Letsy Bale in the home straight checking Diamond Jack.  Flash Riot eased in the home straight and collided with Letsy Bale checking both greyhounds.  Letsy Bale and Flash Riot collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Lisa Hellmuth the handler of the greyhound Flash Riot regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Flash Riot was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left and right chest muscle, left elbow and left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Flash Riot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mrs. Hellmuth pleaded not guilty to the charge, Flash Riot was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ripper was quick to begin.  Early Violet was slow to begin.  Early Violet was checked off Waynewright approaching the first turn.  Hinnomunji Fire raced wide approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Waynewright and Our Miss Nitro collided on the home turn.  Tina Lee and Waynewright collided entering the home straight checking Tina Lee.

Brooklyn Cruiser and Allen Odin were slow to begin.  Dyna Vank was checked off Explosive Angel soon after the start.  Explosive Angel and Dyna Vank collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Shameless Bandit raced wide on the home turn.  Mechatronic and Brooklyn Cruiser collided on the home turn checking Brooklyn Cruiser.  Allen Odin and Almost Human collided on the home turn.  Dyna Vank was checked off Brooklyn Cruiser in the home straight.  Allen Odin and Mechatronic collided approaching the winning post.

Alotta Luck, Top Innings and Amaroo My Girl were slow to begin.  Captain Bling was checked off Let's Say Hello soon after the start.  Captain Bling lost considerable ground approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result.  Alotta Luck and Jane Eliza collided approaching the home turn checking Jane Eliza.  Top Innings and White Spyro collided entering the home straight checking White Spyro.  Let's Say Hello was checked off Cruiser's Sol in the home straight.

Captain Bling was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have an elevated temperature, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Champagne Shot was a late scratching at 5.42pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

High Commando and Veetee Senor were slow to begin.  Stagger, Just Go Bang and Juan Diego collided approaching the first turn checking Just Go Bang and Juan Diego. Juan Diego was checked off Just Go Bang on the first turn.  Mick Mow and Veetee Senor collided approaching the home turn checking Veetee Senor.

Astromatic was quick to begin.  Sheila Blige was slow to begin.  Lucky Liam and Rylee's Bandit collided soon after the start checking Rylee's Bandit.  Lucky Liam was checked off Neon Storm soon after the start.  Neon Storm contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, stumbled and tailed off as a result.  Lucky Liam, Rylee's Bandit and Sheila Blige collided approaching the home turn checking Rylee's Bandit and Sheila Blige.

Neon Storm was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hind toe, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Amaro Bale, Benta Bale and Pipeline Rumour were slow to begin.  Amaro Bale was checked off Lakeview Harley approaching the first turn.  Pipeline Rumour contacted the running rail approaching the first turn checking Pipeline Rumour.  Lakeview Harley galloped on Image Puzzle approaching the home turn checking Image Puzzle, Lakeview Harley, Amaro Bale and Photon Flyer.  Benta Bale was checked off Amaro Bale on the home turn checking Photon Flyer and Yellowrock Flame.  Pipeline Rumour and Benta Bale collided on the home turn checking Benta Bale, Photon Flyer and Yellowrock Flame.

Ultimate Talent was quick to begin.  Black Macoy, Opus Bale and Playing Tough were slow to begin.  Black Macoy, Rockabilly King and Opus Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Black Macoy and Rockabilly King.  Opus Bale and Rylee's Marshall collided on the first turn checking Opus Bale.  Black Macoy and Rockabilly King collided on the first turn checking Rockabilly King.  Opus Bale was checked off Rylee's Marshall approaching the home turn checking Playing Tough and Ghostly Thoughts.  Black Macoy was checked off Ghostly Thoughts approaching the home turn.  Rockabilly King crossed to the rail in the home straight checking Ghostly Thoughts.

Lumumba was a late scratching at 6.09pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mrs. Jan Brooks was fined the sum of $100.

Thunder Flame and Lethal Blue were slow to begin.  Bizzee Being Me faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result.  Miss Su Chi was checked off Jules'Fancy on the first turn.

Bizzee Being Me was vetted and after being re-vetted 25 minutes later, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Kay King the trainer of the greyhound Bizzee Being Me regarding the greyhound racing manners throughout the event.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Bizzee Being Me with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. King pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bizzee Being Me was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(A)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sanzman trialled over the 400 metres from box 7, weight 31.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.56 sec, the greyhound was beaten a margin of .75 length.  Sanzman was cleared.
