Steward's Report
Cantona was a late scratching at 3.07pm by Order of Stewards. Mr D. Condon, trainer of the greyhound Cantona, pleaded guilty to a charge of GAR 86(o), in that he negligently failed to present the correct greyhound which resulted in the late scratching of Cantona. Mr Condon was fined the sum of $250.
Suspicious Gary, Senor Benjamin, Alvarez and Platinum Emotion collided soon after the start. Noita and Senor Benjmin collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Suspicious Gary and Platinum Emotion collided approaching the home turn. Suspicious Gary raced wide in the home straight.
Due to an error, the judges inadvertantly cleared and then reset the semaphore board with the correct placings prior to the all clear being given.
