Miss Bo Dees checked of Castel Bale approaching the home turn. Crowdza Roaring, Miss Bo Dees, Cawbourne Mighty, Peejay and Ladies Kay collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Bo Dees, Cawbourne Mighty and Peejay which stumbled as a result. Crowdza Roaring and Peejay collided on the home turn checking Peejay. Miss Bo Dees and Cawbourne Mighty collided on the home turn. Riley Jack was quick to begin. Pinkish Hue went up with the lids and was slow to begin. River Bling was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Bekim Echo and Noddin Off collided approaching the first turn. Bekim Echo, Harcourts Joe and Zatmine collided on the first turn, checking Bekim Echo and Harcourts Joe. Bekim Echo and Harcourts Joe collided approaching the home turn, checking Harcourts Joe and checking Bekim Echo which contacted the running rail.

River Bling was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Cruising Thyme and Miracle Maggie were very slow to begin (3 lengths). Cruising Thyme and Miracle Maggie collided soon after the start, severely checking Cruising Thyme. Van Gerwen and Arvo's Gringo collided soon after the start. Loves A Vic, Van Gerwen and Arvo's Gringo collided approaching the first turn, checking Loves A Vic. Van Gerwen and Arvo's Gringo collided several times approaching the home turn, checking Van Gerwen, Arvo's Gringo and Cruising Thyme. Loves A Vic contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Loves A Vic and Van Gerwen collided on the home turn. Arvo's Gringo and Cruising Thyme collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Kudah Lady checked off Miracle Maggie in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Miracle Maggie, placed 2nd in the event. 

Stewards spoke to R. Green regarding her difficulty boxing the greyhound Cruising Thyme. Stewards directed that Cruising Thyme be boxed first in future events.

Ninth Again was slow to begin. Relapse and Kripke collided on the first turn. Relapse, Dyna Judas and Promised Kiss collided approaching the home turn, checking Dyna Judas and Promised Kiss. Dyna Judas checked off Promised Kiss approaching the home turn. Dyna Judas and Media Tycoon collided in the home straight. Promised Kiss checked off Relapse in the home straight. Dyna Judas, Media Tycoon and Dee Sticky raced wide in the home straight.

Sky Alert and Smash It were slow to begin. Burst A Move, Little Red Con, Northern Emma and Shadow Lea collided approaching the first turn, checking Shadow Lea and Northern Emma. Burst A Move, Little Red Con, Strike Me Mad and Sky Alert collided approaching the first turn, checking Strike Me Mad. Smash It, Strike Me Mad, Cooly Queen, Shadow Lea and Northern Emma collided on the first turn, checking Strike Me Mad and severely checking Cooly Queen which fell.

Cooly Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the nose; no stand down period was imposed.

Keith's Fiasco and Zenga Bale were slow to begin. Beauty Bale, Dynamo's Miss and Kian's Hybrid collided soon after the start. Vee Big Boy and Dynamo's Miss collided approaching the first turn, checking Beauty Bale. Giants Dance and Kian's Hybrid collided on the first turn. Dynamo's Miss and Zenga Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Dynamo's Miss and Beauty Bale. Giants Dance and Kian's Hybrid collided approaching the home turn, checking Kian's Hybrid. Giants Dance raced wide in the home straight. Giants Dance and Dynamo's Miss collided approaching the winning post.

Yo Yoshi was slow to begin. Arizona Showman was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Lachlan Bear and Mini Mitch collided approaching the first turn. Jimmi Power and Mini Mitch collided on the first turn, checking Jimmi Power which stumbled. Arizona Showman faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Jimmi Power and Mini Mitch collided appoaching the home turn, checking Jimmi Power. Gitcha Rich checked off Lachlan Bear approaching the home turn. Gitcha Rich checked off King Odessa approaching the home turn, checking Mini Mitch which collided with Yo Yoshi. Jimmi Power checked off Mini Mitch on the home turn and raced wide. Lachlan Bear raced wide in the home straight. Yo Yoshi and Gitch Rich collided approaching the winning post.

Jimmi Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Arizona Showman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury; a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Chappy was slow to begin. Dyna Andy, Flirtatious and No No Notorious collided soon after the start. No No Notorious and Black Odin collided approaching the first turn. Mantaray Lad, Dyna Andy, Chappy and Jane Eliza collided approaching the home turn, checking Jane Eliza. Luscious Lily checked off Jane Eliza approaching the home turn and collided with Chappy. Flirtatious and Jane Eliza collided on the home turn. Dyna Andy and Black Odin collided entering the home straight. Jane Eliza and Flirtatious collided in the home straight.

Lusciuos Lily was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh and a left hock injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

K. Smale, trainer of Arvo's Echo redeclared a new weight of 32.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Arvo's Echo last raced at 31.2kg.

Zatrite and Mr. Optimistic collided soon after the start, checking Zatrite. Morning Cruise and Ragtime Rosie collided approaching the first turn, checking Ragtime Rosie. Arvo's Echo and Ragtime Rosie collided approaching the home turn, checking Arvo's Echo. Morning Cruise and Stealthy Shadow collided approaching the home turn, checking Morning Cruise. Morning Cruise and Zatrite collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. 

Zatrite was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Why Not Rowan was slow to begin. In The Flesh and Southern Tip collided approaching the first turn. Why Not Rowan crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Southern Tip and Our Arandt collided on the first turn, checking Southern Tip. Classy Capri and Out Arandt collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Why Not Rowan galloped on Southern Tip on the home turn, checking Southern Tip. Southern Tip and Classy Capri collided approaching the winning post, severely checking both greyhounds.

Classy Capri was vetted following a heavy fall after the winning post. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left calf; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Southern Tip was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a compound fracture to the left radius and ulna, and was humanely euthanised.

Cantona was a late scratching at 3.07pm by Order of Stewards. Mr D. Condon, trainer of the greyhound Cantona, pleaded guilty to a charge of GAR 86(o), in that he negligently failed to present the correct greyhound which resulted in the late scratching of Cantona. Mr Condon was fined the sum of $250.

Suspicious Gary, Senor Benjamin, Alvarez and Platinum Emotion collided soon after the start. Noita and Senor Benjmin collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Suspicious Gary and Platinum Emotion collided approaching the home turn. Suspicious Gary raced wide in the home straight.

Due to an error, the judges inadvertantly cleared and then reset the semaphore board with the correct placings prior to the all clear being given.

Miss Safari and Arvo's Violet collided soon after the start. Red Bomber and Arvo's Joy collided in the home straight. 

Meeting comments:

Whats Chewing was presented for a revet at the conclusion of kenneling and was cleared to race.

Satisfactory Trials:

Phaser Bale trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 33.1kg the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20 The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6 1/4L. Phaser Bale was cleared.

Take Up Jack trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 31.4kg the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20 The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8L. Take Up Jack was cleared.

Lonesome Jett trialled over the 400m from box 7, weight 28.6kg the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.20 The greyhound won by a margin of 61/4L. Lonesome Jett was cleared.
