Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver Bernie Groom did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Manelito and Volcanic Rock collided soon after the start, checking Manelito. Mr Moo, Carwoola Saige, Pagani Lola, Manelito, Volcanic Rock and Deejay's Mate collided approaching the first turn, checking Manelito, Mr Moo, Pagani Lola and Deejay's Mate which lost ground and tailed off as a result. Mr Moo and Carwoola Saige collided on the first turn. Boom Cherry and Volcanic Rock collided approaching the home turn, checking Boom Cherry and Manelito, severely checking Carwoola Saige. Boom Cherry raced wide approaching the home turn, colliding with Carwoola Saige. Mr Moo checked off Manelito entering the home straight. Boom Cherry raced wide in the home straight.
Boom Cherry was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Deejay's Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained tears to the left and right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
