Highfield Maddie was slow to begin. Clovalley Spike, Twelve Steps and Shirdon Connorae collided on the first turn, checking Talking To You, Twelve Steps and Montane. Talking To You and Shirdon Connorae collided approaching the home turn, checking Talking To You, Hurricane Blue and Highfield Maddie. Talking To You checked off Shirdon Connorae approaching the home turn. Highfield Maddie checked off Hurricane Blue on the home turn.

Astrome was quick to begin. Bekim Echo and Kimanator collided soon after the start. Pitt Street, Cosmic Ali, Miss Icy Fantasy and Jiggly Legs collided approaching the first turn, checking Pitt Street and Miss Icy Fantasy. Highfield Stix and Cosmic Ali collided approaching the first turn. Pitt Street and Miss Icy Fantasy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Astrome and Jiggly Legs collided in the home straight. 

Kimanator was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind webbing, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Name's May was slow to begin. Splash Of White, Just Gracie and Penny's For Me collided soon after the start, checking Just Gracie.  Clovalley Rang, Andy's Delight, Splash Of White and Fredwyn collided on the first turn, checking Just Gracie, Penny's For Me and Andy's Delight. Just Gracie and My Name's May collided approaching the home turn. Clovalley Rang, Splash Of White and Fredwyn collided approaching the home turn, checking Clovalley Rang which collided with Penny's For Me. Andy's Delight checked off Penny's For Me on the home turn.

Teecee Raider was slow to begin. Babagoi and Detcord collided soon after the start. Sanz Gold raced wide approaching the first turn. Angenella, Pagani Ebony and Home You Go collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Angenella. Angenella, Teecee Raider and Babagoi collided on the first turn, checking Angenella and Teecee Raider. Babagoi checked off Pagani Ebony in the home straight. 

Angenella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck pain and a mild strain to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Next Grange was slow to begin. Dee Lightning and My Boy Lollipop collided approaching the first turn, checking My Boy Lollipop. Merlot Magic and Master Of Time collided on the first turn, checking Merlot Magic. Rybora Lizzie and Dee Lightning collided several times in the home straight. Osti's Moment and Dee Lightning collided approaching the winning post. Rybora Lizzie and Next Grange collided approaching the winning post, checking Next Grange. 

Komondo, Toy Tsunami and Cosmic Lady collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Toy Tsunami. Special Lies and Le Luca collided approaching the first turn, checking Cosmic Lady. Toy Tsunami and Sun Valley collided approaching the home turn. Special Lies eased in the home straight. Toy Tsunami, Le Luca and Freckle's Way collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr Brian Brown, the trainer of the greyhound Special Lies regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Special Lies was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle strain, a 5 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Special Lies with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Brown pleaded guilty to the charge, Special Lies was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Brown advised Stewards that it was his intention to retire the greyhound.

Maggie's Revenge was slow to begin. Zafonic Zjhandi, Ninja Kong and Coup De Main collided approaching the home turn, checking Ninja Kong. Stylish Ruler and Emma Reg collided approaching the home turn, checking Emma Reg and Coup De Main. Maggie's Revenge and Emma Reg raced wide in the home straight. 

Sofa So Good was quick to begin. Wilson's Dream and Stylish Shazz collided soon after the start. King Spotalot and Will He Bolt collided soon after the start. Fear Her, Black Beard, Wilson's Dream and Stylish Shazz collided approaching the first turn. Hard To Handle checked off Will He Bolt on the first turn. 

Jumangi Spur and Bowser Koopa collided approaching the first turn. Mclanahan, Fat Garry and Zafonic Josh collided approaching the first turn, checking Fat Garry. Mclanahan and Zafonic Josh collided approaching the first turn. Jumangi Spur, Highfield Zibia and Mclanahan collided approaching the first turn. Highfield Zibia checked off Bowser Koopa approaching the home turn. Jumangi Spur, Zafonic Josh and Bowser Koopa collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Zafonic Josh which collided with Highfield Zibia, checking Highfield Zibia. Cosmic Mistake raced wide in the home straight.

Zafonic Josh was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Pagani Chloe was a late scratching at 4:58pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. Donaldson was fined the sum of $100.

Blockbuster, Boom Cherry and Kian's Hybird collided approaching the first turn, checking Boom Cherry. Pagani Bridie and Kian's Hybird collided on the home turn, checking Pagani Bridie. Pagani Bridie and Buzz Cutter collided in the home straight. Blockbuster and Buzz Cutter collided approaching the winning post. 

Claretown Tex and Southern Tip were slow to begin. Claretown Tex checked off Carlanna Coyote on the first turn. Deejay's Mate and Manelito collided approaching the home turn. Southern Tip galloped on the heels of Deejay's Mate approaching the home turn. Senor Benjamin checked off Manelito approaching the home turn. Carlanna Coyote contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Claretown Tex and Carlanna Coyote collided on the home turn, checking Carlanna Coyote which raced wide and severely checking Southern Tip which stumbled as a result. 

Southern Tip was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild strain to the pencil muscle, right triangle and thigh muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. P. Kaltsis trainer of Miss Connochie redeclared a new weight of 25kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Connochie last raced at 23.7kg.

Blue Quartette was quick to begin. Jimmy Marlow and True Genius were slow to begin. Typhoon Blake crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and collided with Jimmy Marlow, checking both greyhounds. True Genius and Jimmy Marlow collided approaching the first turn. Kharlessi and Riddle Me Lad collided on the first turn, checking Riddle Me Lad. Kharlessi was held up for a run approaching the home turn, checking Blue Quartette. True Genius and Riddle Me Lad collided on the home turn, checking True Genius. Kharlessi and Riddle Me Lad collided in the home straight. Kharlessi and Blue Quartette collided in the home straight. Typhoon Blake raced wide in the home straight.
