A pre race sample was taken from Honey Boo Boo.
Honey Boo Boo was a late scratching at 7:05pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Teecee Raider was slow to begin. Babagoi and Detcord collided soon after the start. Sanz Gold raced wide approaching the first turn. Angenella, Pagani Ebony and Home You Go collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Angenella. Angenella, Teecee Raider and Babagoi collided on the first turn, checking Angenella and Teecee Raider. Babagoi checked off Pagani Ebony in the home straight.
Angenella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck pain and a mild strain to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
