Blingsteen was slow to begin. Blingsteen checked off Shining Dozer soon after the start. Unquestionably crossed to the outside soon after the start. Shining Dozer and Dashing Diesel soon after the start. Fireman Johnny and Jai Alai collided at the 300m mark. Shining Dozer and Dashing Diesel collided approaching the 100m mark, checking Blingsteen. Fireman Johnny and Jai Alai collided approaching the winning post.
Blingsteen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left triangle and left quadriceps soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
