Steward's Report

Dimple Way was quick to begin. Lektra Stroke and Cudgee Destroyer were slow to begin. Lektra Stroke and Rumbalara Girl collided approaching the first turn. Phaser Bale, Superliner, Unbound and Cudgee Destroyer collided on the first turn checking Unbound, Superliner and Cudgee Destroyer. Lektra Stroke  checked off Rumbalara Girl on the first turn. Superliner, Unbound and Cudgee Destroyer collided approaching the home turn checking Superliner. Unbound and Cudgee Destroyer collided on the home turn. Rumbalara Girl and Cudgee Destroyer collided entering the home straight. Dimple Way faltered in the home straight and lost ground checking Rumbalara Girl. Unbound and Cudgee Destroyer collided approaching the winning post. 

Dimple Way was vetted and after being re-vetted following event twelve.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right pencil muscles and left and right quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.A.Hyde, the handler of the greyhound Dimple Way regarding the greyhounds perfomance over the concluding stages, Mr.Hyde stated that when he arrived at the catching pen shortly after the race he was of the opinion that the greyhound had crmaped.  Stewards deemed the performance of Dimple Way unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Dimple Way must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
