A post–race sample was taken from Steal Your Style – the winner of the event.
Following the event, Stewards questioned Mrs. Jane Hook, the trainer of Kraken Candy, after noting the betting fluctuations opened at $50 and closed at $5. Mrs. Hook stated that the greyhound had resumed racing from a spell due to being seasonal and was expecting a strong performance in today’s event after an encouraging performance at Bendigo on 27/10/23. Mrs Hook stated that she did not support the greyhound in today’s event. Stewards noted Mrs Hook’s comments.
