Hot Noise and Zadie were slow to begin.
Artemis One (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist fracture and left tendon injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
George McFly (severely checked and lost ground on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post–race sample was taken from Flying Zulu – the winner of the event.
