Steward's Report
B. Dapiran, Trainer, Zipping Coco redeclared a new weight of 28.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zipping Coco last raced at 29.6kg.
Galloping Mich, Kimanator, Bobbi Delicious and Spring Pearl were slow to begin. Kyah Jenny, Galloping Mich, Spring Pearl and Stetson Blue Az collided on the first turn checking Kimanator. Kyah Jenny raced wide on the first turn checking Stetson Blue Az. Spring Pearl raced wide on the second turn checking Kyah Jenny. Bobbi Delicious marred the running of Galloping Mich in the home straight checking Galloping Mich.
Bobbi Delicious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and left triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Allen, Trainer of Bobbi Delicious. Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Bobbi Delicious with marring. Mr Allen pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at The Meadows and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
