The starting time for this event was delayed one minute to allow water to be swept away from the front of the boxes.

Heaps Of Ability and Joane were slow to begin. Heaps Of Ability and Joane collided soon after the start. Paris Sparks, Bailey Rose and Mystic Twist collided on the first turn, checking Bailey Rose, Mystic Twist and Ima Fairytale. Joane checked off Heaps Of Ability approaching the second turn. Joane, Mystic Twist and Ima Fairytale collided approaaching the second turn, checking Mystic Twist and Ima Fairytale. Heaps Of Ability checked off Bailey Rose on the second turn, causing Heaps Of Ability to race wide. Mystic Twist and Ima Fairytale collided in the front straight, checking Mystic Twist. Ima Fairytale was held up for a short distance approaching the home turn. Ima Fairytale and Heaps Of Ability collided on the home turn, checking Heaps Of Ability.

Virginia Rose and Grand Intention were slow to begin. Mepunga Mia, Crackerjack Max and West On Delly collided soon after the start, checking Mepunga Mia and Crackerjack Max. Desperate Pete and Virginia Rose collided soon after the start. Virginia Rose and Crackerjack Max collided approaching the first turn. Desperate Pete, Lektra Kelly, Mepunga Mia, West On Delly and Grand Intention collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Kelly and West On Delly. Mepunga Mia and Grand Intention collided approaching the second turn. West On Delly and Mepunga Mia collided approaching the second turn. Crackerjack Max and Desperate Pete collided on the second turn, checking Desperate Pete and Grand Intention. West On Delly checked off Crackerjack Max entering the back straight. Mepunga Mia and Grand Intention collided on the third turn, checking both greyhounds. Desperate Pete and West On Delly collided on the home turn. Desperate Pete and Virginia Rose collided entering the home straight. Desperate Pete and West On Delly collided approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from Special Supreme, the winner of the event. 

Sisco Good was slow to begin. Chloe's Hand, Ketut's Kaput, Turbine and Cheeky Hand collided approaching the first turn, checking Ketut's Kaput and Cheeky Hand; Ketut's Kaput lost ground as a result. Chloe's Hand tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Sisco Good was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right metacarpals; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Ketut's Kaput was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sutained a graze to the left hind nail bed; no stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Agility, the winner of the event. 

Xtreme Knocka and Wind Whistler were slow to begin. Crackerjack Dak, Dyna Geldof and Weblec Belle collided approaching the first turn, checking Weblec Belle and Duchess Bale. Xtreme Knocka checked off Weblec Belle on the first turn. Xtreme Knocka and Wind Whistler raced wide in the back straight. Dyna Geldof checked off Weblec Belle on the third turn. Oscura checked off Lektra Brave approaching the home turn. Oscura, Lektra Brave and Wind Whistler collided on the home turn. 

Exhibition Trial (Solo) - Subsequent to race 4 Bessy Boo trialled over the 515 metres from box 2, weight 31.4kg. The sectional times for the trial are as follows:

Joey Valdez and Speed Series were slow to begin. Jayney Bale, Access and Dyna Villa collided soon after the start. Speed Series checked off Access soon after the start. Access and Dyna Villa collided approaching the first turn. Access checked off Dyna VIlla approaching the first turn. Joey Veldez and Access collided on the first turn, checking Joey Valdez, Access, Speed Series and Hawk Alone. Dyna Villa crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Campaspe Will and Jayney Bale.

Oakvale Destiny and Awesome Project collided on the first turn, checking Awesome Project and severely checking Allen Deed which lost ground as a result. Oakvale Destiny checked off Iva Vision in the home straight.

Alled Deed was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the right front pad, a 1 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Awesome Project,  the 3rd placegetter

A sample was taken from Allen Deed, the 4th placegetter.

Star Recall and One Dee were slow to begin. Accomplished and Cornelius Fudge collided soon after the start. Hostile crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Glinda. Allen Eryk, Star Recall, Skyfire, Cornelius Fudge and Dyna Glinda collided on the first turn, checking Star Recall, Cornelius Fudge and Dyna Glinda. Allen Eryk, Star Recall, Cornelius Fudge and Dyna Glinda collided on the first turn, severely checking Star Recall and Cornelius Fudge which both raced wide as a result.

Allen Eryk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metacarpal injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Star Recall was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Orion and and Highbury were slow to begin. Crusade Marjen and Diva's Shadow collided on the first turn. Dyna Orion and Diva's Shadow collided in the back straight.

Diva's Shadow was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was right fibula soreness; a 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Secret Spell was quick to begin. Veyron Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Scenic Shot, Weston East, Veyron Bale and severely checking Cosmic Angel and Crackerjack Rose; which both stumbled. Cosmic Angel checked off Weston East on the second turn, checking Scenic Shot. 

Cosmic Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stopper bone injury; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Scenic Shot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the left hind and right fore leg; no stand down period was imposed.

Crackerjack Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Tom Dailly the handler of Crackerjack Rose regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.  Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to Gar 71,  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Te Amo and Azza Azza Azza collided soon after the start and again approqching the first turn. Inner City checked off Dustnado approaching the first turn. Inner City checked off Te Amo on the first turn, causing Inner City to race wide. Azza Azza Azza and Gorham Bale collided on the first turn. Azza Azza Azza checked off Gorham Bale on the third turn. Dustnado and Gorham Bale collided approaching the home turn. Gorham Bale checked off Dustnado on the home turn, checking Azza Azza Azza. Te Amo and Azza Azza Azza collided at the winnning post.

Beckenbauer, Jewel Bale and Satsuki Bale were slow out. Beckenbauer, Gemstar, Allen Malik, Satsuki Bale and Jewel Bale collided first turn. Jewel Bale checked off Beckenbauer back straight checking Allen Malik. Satsuki Bale checked off Gemstar third turn.

Texas Titan, Rinash and Nockabout Aussie were slow to begin. Jordan Allen and Texas Titan collided soon after the start. Texas Titan and Rinash collided soon after the start. Dream It crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Tyra Giselle. Jordan Allen, Texas Titan, Tyra Giselle and Nockabout Aussie collided on the first turn, checking Jordan Allen, Texas Titan, Rinash and Nockabout Aussie. Texas Titan galloped on Rinash approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Texas Titan checked off Rinash entering the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. P. Akathiotis trainer of the greyhound Knockabout Aussie regarding the manner in which he placed the greyhound in the starting boxes.
