Top End Torque and Smooth Honey collided on the first turn severely checking Smooth Honey and Hypernym. Top End Torque checked off Tina Lee approaching the home turn severely checking Top End Torque and Red Light Runner, Red Light Runner stumbled as a result. Top End Torque and Smooth Honey collided entering the home straight.

Red Light Runner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

King Rockstar and Bling My Day collided approaching the home turn severely checking Bling My Day. Perfect Madison and King Rockstar collided approaching the home turn checking King Rockstar and Groove Girl.

Bling My Day was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

G. Hanson, trainer of Texan Star redeclared a new weight of 30.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Texan Star last raced at 31.9.kg.

Cosmic Lily crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Psychotic Bob, Fearsome Warrior and Sing For Me and severely checking Zoe and Capacity. Johnny Heritage and Sing For Me raced wide entering the home straight. Johnny Heritage checked off Psychotic Bob in the home straight.

Zoe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to C. Kiernan regarding the direction that Fearsome Warrior be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed. 

I. Dann, trainer of Ousti redeclared a new weight of 34.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Ousti last raced at 32.8.kg.
